His past roles include serving as Energy and Sustainability Manager\, Associate Director of Energy and MEP services\, and Director of Facilities Management for California State University\, Long Beach and has been actively involved in sustainability policy development and implementation in both the California State and University of California University systems. Paul earned his degree in Construction Engineering Management from California State University\, Long Beach and has a Master’s in Business Administration from Vanguard University of Southern California. Paul is a registered instructor with the Building Operator Certification (BOC) program. He is a Certified Energy Manager with the Association of Energy Engineers and a practicing independent Clean Energy and Sustainability consultant.
