SUMMARY:IHACI - Commercial Boiler Operation Part 2
DESCRIPTION:This two-part intermediate-level seminar focuses on the fundamental theory and basic operating principles of commercial boiler systems including types (hot water and steam) and fuel sources. It prepares participants with the required skills for proper commercial boiler installation\, operation\, maintenance and service. The first half details the operating principles of commercial boilers including types and fuel sources\, critical components\, preventive maintenance and safety including recognizing potential for explosions and differentiating between conventional and condensing boilers. The second half trains participants in the installation\, operation and service practices of commercial boilers systems including key components\, boiler pressure and relief systems\, analyzing steam and condensate systems and energy efficiency\, boiler system design and maintenance best practices. \n\nPART 2: Installation\, Operation and Service Practices of Commercial Boiler Systems \nPart Two focuses on boiler pressure and relief systems\, the function of key components\, analyzing steam and condensate system operation\, steam systems and energy efficiency\, boiler system design\, developing a preventive maintenance plan and the impact of scale\, dissolved solids and uninsulated piping on boiler efficiency with corrective measures. \n  \nTarget Audience: Installers\, Services Technicians\, Contractors\, Maintenance and Facility Professionals \nLevel: Intermediate to Advanced (1 – 2+ years) \nNote to Attendees \nThis webinar is eligible for NATE CEH credits.  The webinar is only available online and will be hosted on GoToWebinar.  Upon successful registration\, you’ll receive an email with the link to view the presentation.
