If so\, this course is for you! \nActivities and information presented in the class focus on Title 24\, Part 6 (Energy Code) requirements for: \n\nLighting and lighting controls inside single-family homes\nOutdoor lighting and lighting controls for single-family homes\nIndoor and outdoor lighting controlled from within a multifamily dwelling unit or hotel/motel guest room\n\nThe class will cover an overview of current lighting technologies\, such as high-efficacy luminaires and controls options\, and how these products must meet the certification requirements of Title 20 (Appliance Standards) and JA8 (high-efficacy light source Energy Code requirements). \nWe will review a variety of products available and how to identify if they are “certified.” Understanding the how and when of the Energy Code for residential lighting installations can be hard.
