SUMMARY:Adding Solar & Storage to Existing NEM Systems (Webinar)
DESCRIPTION:Description:\nOver time\, many homeowners realize that their current solar systems no longer meet their expanding energy needs. Whether it is adding EV charging\, electrifying equipment\, upgrading appliances or simply insurance against rising electricity costs\, understanding your expansion options is critical. This webinar will guide you through the process of adding Solar PV Capacity and battery storage while considering your current Net Energy Metering (NEM) agreement. Learn when it is advantageous to retain your existing benefits\, when switching would be more cost effective and how to design a system that meets your needs. By the end of this class\, you will possess a clear strategy for making informed decisions that align with your long-term energy goals. \nLearning Outcomes: \nAs a result of attending this class you can expect to learn the following \n\nHow adding solar or battery storage can impact your existing NEM agreement\nStrategies to maximize cost-effectiveness\nHow to expand your system while minimizing energy exports\nHow to future-proof your system by factoring in growing energy needs

SUMMARY:Contractor Demand Building Program
DESCRIPTION:The Contractor Demand Building Program is a hands-on training initiative designed to support California’s skilled trade workforce in the proper installation of Heat Pump Water Heaters (HPWH). Open to all California licensed contractors and their affiliated installers or technicians\, the program offers in-person training sessions held throughout Southern California Edison (SCE) territory. There is no limit to the number of team members a contractor can send. Upon successful completion of the course\, each participant receives one HPWH unit to install within SCE’s service area. This program helps accelerate the adoption of energy-efficient technologies while supporting California’s decarbonization goals. Please visit www.on.sce.com/hpwh to register
