SUMMARY:IHACI: (CAQI/QM/QS) System Diagnostics Module Part 3 - Evaluating\, Analyzing\, and Ultimately Identifying the Root Cause(s) of the HVAC/R System
DESCRIPTION:Description:  (In-Person / Irwindale) \nThis four-part seminar starts with the fundamentals and theory behind the residential and light commercial diagnostic process and covers all aspects of the HVAC system including the mechanical\, electrical\, refrigeration\, air distribution\, gas\, venting\, condensate\, indoor air quality and whole-house concept sections. This class will equip its participants with the broad skill sets required to properly obtain\, record\, evaluate\, analyze\, identify and eliminate all operating problems reported and revealed through the diagnostic process and concludes by verifying that the HVAC systems they are working on are safe\, reliable and operate at the highest capacity and energy efficiency possible. \nPart 3 will focus on the information provided by the client\, and the observations and data obtained by the field technician to evaluate\, analyze\, and ultimately identify the root cause(s) of the reported symptom(s). \nCourse Objectives:\n• Focus on the information provided by the client and the observations and data obtained by the field technician\n• Learn how to evaluate\, analyze and identify the root cause(s) of the reported symptom(s) \nTarget Audience:\n• Facility Professionals\n• HVAC Contractors\n• HVAC Technicians\n• Maintenance Professionals \nLearning Units:\nQualified individuals may be eligible for NATE CEU’S and/or Glendale Community College credits. For information contact IHACI at 818-551-1555. \nLearning Level:\nIntermediate Class: Content is appropriate for individuals who possess a fundamental understanding of the topic\, and have familiarity with basic terminology and methodology of the subject matter. Attendees should have the capacity to participate in instructor-led exercises requiring synthesis and application of concepts. \nSpecial Instructions:\n5:00pm check-in and dinner. Class starts at 6:00pm. \nAttendees:\nPlease register for each seminar individually.\nReservations will be held 15 minutes following the start time above. SUMMARY:IHACI: (CAQI/QM/QS) System Diagnostics Module Part 4 - Accurate Elimination and Verification of the Root Cause(s) of the HVAC/R System
SUMMARY:Practical Guide to All-Electric Residential Buildings (Webinar)
DESCRIPTION:Building All-Electric homes is becoming increasingly stronger than ever. These homes are not only cheaper to construct and operate\, but they also offer healthier and more comfortable living environments. Additionally\, they produce roughly half the greenhouse gas emissions compared to mixed fuel homes. The 2025 California energy code is set to accelerate the adoption of All-Electric buildings\, making compliance with energy regulations easier. This class\, led by two experienced instructors who have personally built All-Electric homes\, provides an insider’s perspective on designing and constructing electric homes. The instructors will share examples from their professional work\, address common objections and obstacles\, and offer valuable lessons learned from the field. Attendees will gain a deeper understanding of the technologies that make All-Electric homes possible\, including Heat Pumps\, Heat Pump Water Heaters\, Induction Cooking\, Heat Pump Clothes Dryers. Join us to explore why All-Electric homes are the future of sustainable living and how they facilitate easier energy code compliance.
