Job Description:

TRC is seeking an Associate Project Manager to support the management of our California Residential New Construction electrification portfolio. The primary focus for this role will be to oversee multiple projects for multiple programs, though the application submittal, scope of work review, preapproval, change requests, final review, and incentives grant. The Associate Project Manager will train and support junior operations staff and lead process improvement initiatives to the program’s processes. This candidate will work closely with potential program participants to review project applications. The Associate Project Manager will execute efforts via phone or email communication with residential builders and developers, energy consultants, and project teams to promote and confirm program eligibility, layer incentives, and update applicants about their incentive status as needed. The Associate Project Manager will be responsible for communicating updates to relevant stakeholders at each phase, remove barriers as needed, and support each project from initiation to completion.

The ideal candidate will have experience with utility energy efficiency and electrification incentive processing. They will have experience working with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and have the ability to train internal and external stakeholders on best practices of using the system. They will be an independent detail-oriented leader with a positive attitude and who is excellent at multi-tasking while maintaining a high degree of accuracy, efficiency, and reliability. The ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication with solid customer service and problem-solving abilities.
